Koelsch Communities seeks a Certified Caregiver for Amber Creek Inn in Scottsdale. The role supports residents in daily activities with compassionate, resident-centered care across full-time and part-time shifts.

You will promote safety, dignity, and personalized assistance, collaborating with a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver service excellence and uphold community standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Caregiver for Senior Living Certification as required by Arizona regulations.
• Must have completed a ServSafe or equivalent food handler course per policy.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills in Standard English.
• Positive, honest, dependable, and flexible with schedules and shifts.
• Ability to multi-task and work well with diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal support.
• Observe resident rights and maintain safety, dignity, and cleanliness at all times.
• Document and report changes in resident condition promptly to on-duty LN.
• Support staff across departments to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Maintain knowledge of individual care plans and follow community policy.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor and participate in in-service trainings.

Who You Are

You pride yourself in providing exceptional hospitality and personal aide. This role delivers in a safe and efficient manner the highest quality individualized assistance program to all residents.

What You’ll Do

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Assist residents to and from meals.
• Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.
• Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents.
• Keep environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe residents for safety and report all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to LN on duty.
• Assist other staff as needed on the floor.
• Maintains knowledge of resident care plans.
• Documents, communicates, and reports, in accordance with community policy, any resident or staff incidents.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Must possess an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality and be congenial with fellow employees, residents, and the public at large.
• Must be an honest and dependable individual.
• Must maintain proper hygiene.
• Must be professional in dress and presentation.
• Must be willing to be active during entire work shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Standard English and use own judgment and initiative in daily activities.
• Must be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
• Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Must be detail and team work oriented.
• Must attend required in‑services / workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
• Must be drug‑free and submit to urinalysis drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First‑Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Koelsch Communities.

Licenses, Certifications, & Education Required

• Current Certified Caregiver for Senior Living Certification in accordance with Arizona regulatory requirements including maintaining CEs and licensure requirements.
• Passed an approved food handler’s or ServSafe course as required by County, State and/or Community policy.
