Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with compassionate care aligned to individualized service plans. The role covers daily living activities, meals, and social engagement to help residents live their lives to the fullest.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN positions with benefits that start after 30 days, daily pay options, and a 401(k) with employer match. CPR/First Aid are required, CNA license is essential.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.

The Certified Caregiver supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that Resident’s daily needs are met in a compassionate way that maintains their dignity, allowing them to live their life to the fullest! FULL-TIME

• Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)

• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
