Overview

Guardian Angel Senior Services is looking to add Home Health Aide/CNA to join our team who are compassionate and support elderly residents in their homes with all daily activities, ensuring residents' safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. They should demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of resident care with a sensitive approach. Knowledge and compliance of all state resident rights are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervision & assistance in bathing and dressing/undressing and other hygiene-related responsibilities


• Assistance in mobility and encourage clients to follow prescribed exercise programs, which may include ROM exercises and walking


• Assistance in transferring client from bed to chair or to other equipment


• Assistance in turning and repositioning the client as prescribed and providing care to pressure point areas (e.g. back rubs)


• Reminding about medications and helping with pre-dosed medications


• Housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, and maintaining a clean bathroom and kitchen


• Laundry services


• Shopping for groceries and other household requirements


• (NOT APPLICABLE FOR NON-DRIVERS) Transportation when needed to appointments or therapy


• Meal preparation and serving to clients, following all dietary requirements


• Continence care

Requirements
