Qualifications

• Valid Certificate as a "Certified Court Interpreter" issued by the Judicial Council of California on behalf of the State of California.
• One year of the equivalent of full-time experience acting as an interpreter‑translator in a courtroom or in a business environment.

Responsabilités

• Interpret from Cantonese to English and vice versa using simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation modes at court proceedings and for court-related departments.
• Provide sight translations of documents such as petitions, reports, waivers, and forms for the court.
• Interpret for judges, attorneys, court staff, and other court-related departments as directed by the court.
