You will inspect construction, read plans, and report violations, while coordinating with staff and the public. A valid WI inspector license or equivalent is required, with ICC certifications or WI registrations as a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction practices.
• Ability to interpret codes in the field and provide compliant solutions.
• Experience in municipal code inspections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction.
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required.
• Report violations and maintain files/records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
