Job summary

New Castle Building Products in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a qualified Boom Operator / Driver to safely transport materials and operate cranes. You will be responsible for loading/unloading materials and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Ideal candidates should possess Articulated Boom Crane Certification, NCCCO certification, and have at least 2+ years of experience with a CDL Class A or B license. The position offers a competitive wage range of $28 - $32.30/hour with union benefits.

Qualifications

• MUST have Articulated Boom Crane or Knuckle Boom Certification.
• NCCCO certified.
• Prior experience in building materials a plus.
• Must be detail and customer service oriented.
• Warehouse and truck mounted forklift experience required.
• At least 2+ years Class A or B experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport material to the client's location.
• Operate boom to lift and move building materials.
• Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms to prevent malfunctions.
• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 80 pounds.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
