Job Opportunity: Certified Automatic Door Technician

Lane Valente Industries, a leading international construction and facility maintenance company with offices throughout the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a talented Certified Automatic Door Technician. We service top U.S. corporations with a strong team of field technicians supported by experienced managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and repairing automatic doors, including frames, rails, steel rolling curtains, electronic mechanisms, and electric openers/closers using various tools and test equipment.
  • Maintaining mechanical equipment, conducting repairs, adjustments, and testing.
  • Participating in commercial renovations and buildouts.
  • Following OSHA safety requirements and maintaining a professional appearance and communication skills with clients.
  • Documenting repairs thoroughly, including measurements, photographs, and repair recommendations.
  • Working overtime or on-call as needed.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in carpentry, painting, and flooring installation.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel and work overnight shifts.
  • Ability to supply basic construction tools.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete within 3 months.
  • Must be AAADM certified.
