Job summary

AutoNation Ford Sanford is seeking a Certified Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, ensuring customer trust and confidence in AutoNation. You will work with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and communication with customers, diagnose issues, and document work while maintaining essential tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of Automotive Dealership Technician experience.
• Experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Automotive technical training as needed by store requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend improvements for safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle and maintain technician tool inventory as needed.
