Phil Long KIA in Colorado Springs is hiring a Kia Certified Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle systems with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and factory standards. You will support apprentices, coordinate with Parts, and document all work and recommendations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, road testing as needed, and staying current on manufacturer training and technical bulletins. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid driver license; manufacturer training may apply.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and reasoning for procedures.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance (OSHA, hazardous waste).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to dealership and factory standards.
• Complete work from repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and document findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Parts and tag/save warranty components.
• Road test as needed and ensure quality and safety.
• Support apprentice technicians and stay current with bulletins.
