Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to partner with student-athletes, coaches and healthcare professionals. This role supports St. Cloud State University with coverage at practices and events, injury prevention education, injury care and rehabilitation program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage at practices and sporting events.
• Deliver injury prevention education to athletes and staff.
• Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Coordinate care with medical providers to ensure seamless treatment.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records to support effective treatment and outcomes.

Job description

The Certified Athletic Trainer partners with student-athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals to promote athlete health, safety, and performance. Serving St. Cloud State University, this role provides athletic training coverage at practices and sporting events, delivers injury prevention education, evaluates and treats musculoskeletal injuries, and develops individualized rehabilitation programs. The Athletic Trainer ensures seamless coordination of care with medical providers and maintains comprehensive records to support effective treatment and positive athlete outcomes.

This position will support St. Cloud State University primarily, with some possible clinic coverage in the summer when school is out of session.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
• Hours vary between clinic and sporting events

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $53,456.00 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
• Pay range: $53,456.00 – $80,217.70 per year
• Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
• $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates!
