CentraCare Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our sports medicine team. You will work alongside orthopedic physicians and APPs as the primary athletic trainer for a local high school program.

This role blends clinic-based orthopedic care with community outreach, offering opportunities to evaluate injuries, develop rehab plans, supervise return-to-play decisions, and cover practices and games.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field required.
• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer with MN Board of Medical Practice.
• 2+ years of experience in athletic training setting preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing required.

Responsabilités

• Work side-by-side with orthopedic surgeons and rehab professionals.
• Assist with orthopedic patient care, injury evaluations, treatment planning, and return-to-play decisions.
• Provide athletic training services to local high school student-athletes.
• Cover practices, games, and special athletic events.
• Develop injury prevention strategies and educational programs for athletes, coaches, and families.
• Create rehabilitation programs to help athletes return safely to sport.
• Serve as a healthcare resource within the assigned school community.
