Job summary

CentraCare Health in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to work directly with student athletes at local high schools and colleges, and support at sporting events in St. Cloud.

You will educate athletes on injury prevention and help assess, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injuries, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and accurate records. Typical schedule is full-time (80 hours every two weeks) with afternoon, evening, and some weekend events;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training is required.
• MN Board of Medical Practice licensure as Athletic Trainer is required.
• 2+ years of experience in athletic training setting preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Educate athletes on injury prevention.
• Assess, treat, and provide rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Provide athletic coverage during afternoon, evening, and some weekend events.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud


• Hours vary between clinic and sporting events (high school and college, and semi-pro teams)



• Athletic coverage during the afternoon, evening, and some weekend events.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $53,456.00 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience

    • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field required; master’s degree preferred



• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer with MN Board of Medical Practice.
