Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support ROCORI High School in Cold Spring, MN. This full-time position provides athletic training coverage for contracted schools and coordinates access to healthcare services for athletes.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in a related field, NATA-BOC certification, CPR, and state licensing where applicable. A Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Record outcomes of rehabilitation and adjust plans of care accordingly.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Promote outreach opportunities and participate in events to represent the company.

Overview

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting ROCORI High School in Cold Spring, MN.

Position: Certified Athletic Trainer

Location: 402 Red River Ave N Suite 6, Cold Spring, MN 56320

Type of Employment: Full-timeSchedule: Weekdays/Weekend, Typical High School ATC Hours

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000, annually, based on years of experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
