Role

Certified Athletic Trainer, PRN, providing athletic training services for local high school teams.

Responsibilities

Cover athletic events, evaluate injuries, assist with injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, and support safe return-to-play decisions. Communicate injury status and treatment plans to athletes, families, coaches, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation, promote health and safety education, and coordinate with school staff. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training, current BOC certification, valid Illinois license or eligibility, CPR/AED certification, and 1-2 years of experience preferred. Must have strong knowledge of anatomy, injury assessment, and therapeutic techniques, along with excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and provide age-appropriate care.
