NovaCare Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to care for student athletes under contract with schools in Central Minnesota and the Twin Cities. The role is PRN, with flexible hours and travel to contracted districts, scheduled around coverage needs.

The position offers per-diem compensation of $28.00 per hour, with opportunities to coordinate access to health care for student athletes and grow within a national network of support.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree required.
• NATA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes.
• Assess and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce risk.
• Evaluate effectiveness of training and rehabilitation techniques and adjust as needed.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures to minimize impact on athletes.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their student athletes. This position will be supporting contracted school districts in and around Central Minnesota and the Twin Cities. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

Location: In and around Central Minnesota and the Twin Cities

Type of Employment: PerDiem/PRN

Schedule: Hours Vary as needed

Compensation: $28.00, hourly

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
