Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to care for athletes in the Greater Philadelphia area. The PRN/PerDiem role provides flexible hours across high school, college/university and outreach settings, with access to a nationwide support network.

Starting compensation is $40/hr, commensurate with experience, with opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Coordinate access to health care for athletes with partner schools/teams.
• Assist in evaluation and treatment decisions during games and practices.
• Collaborate with athletic trainers, sports PTs and physicians to optimize care.

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and/or professional teams and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting our partners in/around the Philadelphia market. This is a PRN/PerDiem position that offers flexibility and opens opportunities to work in the high school, college/university and outreach settings. • Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
