Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to support patient care across in-office settings and athletic events. You will take vitals and patient history, assist physicians with procedures, and fit DME while educating patients on products and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer (per guidelines set by NYS Ed).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Prefer experience working with multiple age ranges—pediatrics through geriatrics, but will consider a newly certified trainer with internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming, vitals, and history taking.
• Prepares for and assists physician with in-office procedures.
• Responsible for DME fitting and product education.
• Respond to patient messages, phone calls and questions appropriately, within scope of practice or via physician/nurse triage.
