Overview

SacoBay is seeking a PRN Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)/Injury Prevention Specialist to provide care for local athletes in Portsmouth, NH! In this role, you will provide injury prevention services to multiple sites throughout the region. The position is open for exercise physiologists, PTAs, or clinicians with an exercise science background.

Schedule: PRN, weekdays 7am-9am

Compensation: Starting at $35-$50/hr (pending experience)

Responsibilities:

• On-site coverage for industrial clients under the direction of the Account/Program Manager
• Delivery of a full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned locations, including:
• Assessment, triage, and first aid for workplace injury/discomfort
• Ergonomic risk assessment and ergonomic solutions implementation
• Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercises, and stretching
• Job coaching and behavior modification in one-on-one and group settings
• Education and training on injury prevention topics
• Office ergonomics
• Health and wellness consultations
• Documentation and reporting of employee encounters
• Regular communication with clients and leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum one year of experience; industrial setting experience is a plus
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
