Position Overview

Pivot Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate PRN Industrial Athletic Trainer at our client’s site in Clifton Park. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health, wellness, and safety!
Pay Rate: Starting at $30/hr

Job Summary

The Industrial Athletic Trainer will develop and oversee injury management and health improvement programs for employees, focusing on injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, OSHA emergency/first aid, health education, and worksite health promotion.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses.
  2. Implement site-specific wellness initiatives and ergonomic interventions.
  3. Provide first-aid and manage musculoskeletal complaints using appropriate techniques.
  4. Assess orthopedic injuries, participate in injury prevention education, and coordinate treatment plans.
  5. Analyze data, document patient files, and generate reports.
  6. Create a trustful environment encouraging injury prevention.
  7. Coordinate with safety personnel and advocate for injured workers.
  8. Attend meetings and contribute articles for newsletters or intranet as needed.
  9. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Board of Certification (BOC) certification.
  • State licensure/certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
  • At least 2 years of athletic training experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA recordability and workers’ compensation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in ergonomics or occupational health.
  • CEAS/OSHA10 certification.
