The Athletic Trainer will cover sporting events and practices during the week and including weekends - flexible hours required.

Evaluates and treats sports injuries in consultation with physician and/or according to set operating procedures; provides rehabilitation in accordance with The Ohio Athletic Training Practice Act; monitors patient’s progress; provides patient and family education; maintains records and processes appropriate charges; assists with pre-participation athlete screenings, ImPACT Concussion Testing, and Community Outreach Programs.

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine or related program.
  • Certified by BOC
  • Licensure in the State of Ohio

Experience

  • One (1) year of experience working as an Athletic Trainer preferred.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and transport patients and equipment.
  • Must be willing to work with persons with disabilities.
