Overview

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for athletes in Simsbury, CT. This is a full-time athletic training position located at a local high school.

Sign-on Bonus Available!

Schedule: Typical high school athletic trainer hours.

Compensation: Starting at $50k/yr (pending experience).

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes, including rehabilitation.
• Administer athletic training techniques to prevent injuries, such as taping, wrapping, bracing, hydration, and wound care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and rehabilitation techniques and record athlete responses.
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care, including basic life support.
• Participate in outreach events to promote the company, such as races and club teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
