The San Mateo Union High School District (SMUHSD) provides high school and adult education to Foster City, San Mateo, Burlingame, Hillsborough, Millbrae, and San Bruno. Role Description

This full-time, on-site position is based in Millbrae, CA. The Certified Athletic Trainer will provide injury prevention, athletic training, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and prevention services to student-athletes. They will coordinate with coaches, physicians, and parents to ensure a safe sports environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athletic training
• Ability to develop strength and conditioning programs to enhance athletic performance and reduce injuries
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with coaches, physicians, and parents
• Current BOC certification as an Athletic Trainer and valid state license
• CPR/AED certification
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field
• Experience with high school or college sports preferred
