Job summary

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes in Kingman, AZ, serving contracted schools and coordinating access to additional health care for their athletes. This full-time position supports Lee Williams HS with weekday evenings and fall season Saturdays.

Starting pay is $60,000 per year, with a $5K sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including mentoring, CEU opportunities, generous PTO, medical/dental/vision

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state athletic trainer license required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes.
• Determine and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Assess and document the effectiveness of rehabilitation and athlete progress.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS/acute care as needed.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote Banner Physical Therapy.

Banner Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes in Kingman, AZ! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting Lee Williams HS.

Type Of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays including evenings (Hours Vary), Saturdays only during fall season

Compensation: Starting at $60,000/Yr, comensurate with experience

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation


• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)


• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care


• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.


• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree


• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA - BOC) certification


• CPR certification


• Applicable state license where required
