Job summary

Banner Physical Therapy in Phoenix seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support student athletes. The ATC will float between Mountain Pointe High School and McClintock High School for up to 40 hours per week, with all hours dedicated to the high schools.

Salary range is $55,000–$60,000 per year, based on experience, plus incentives including up to $3,500 sign-on and a $200 monthly student debt tuition benefit. Comprehensive benefits, mentorship, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree is required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Applicable state license where required is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury.
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care.
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company.

In this role, the Athletic Trainer will be floating between Mountain Pointe High School & McClintock High School for up to 40 hours per week. • Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
