Job summary

Premise Health is hiring an Athletic Trainer – Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist in Georgetown, KY. The role focuses on delivering preventive care to client employees at our Health Center, with hours Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11 PM or four 10-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 1 AM.

No weekends and relocation assistance available. You will develop early intervention programs, perform ergonomic assessments, lead training on functional movement, and coordinate with on-site teams while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• BOC certification as Athletic Trainer.
• Current hands-on BLS/CPR certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an early intervention program including musculoskeletal exams and injury prevention education.
• Conduct physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high‑risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care with on-site medical and safety teams and document assessments and outcomes promptly.
• Maintain patient health records and participate in meetings and task forces.

As a full time Athletic Trainer – Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you’ll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Georgetown, KY. The scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11 PM or choose 4, 10 hour shifts and work 2:30 PM – 1AM.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred
