Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks an Athletic Trainer to provide direct care to athletes, ensuring optimal performance and recovery. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations of injuries, delivering immediate medical care, and creating rehabilitation plans.
Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, strong communication skills, and a dedication to athlete welfare. This full-time role will also entail flexible scheduling around important sporting events.
Delivers direct care to support optimal athletic performance, including prevention, immediate care, evaluation, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. Ensures adherence to state practice acts, BOC Standards of Professional Practice, and physician oversight requirements. Completes all required patient documentation, participates in staff and student education, and identifies opportunities to improve service quality and efficiency.
Lift over 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing/walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
