Job summary

LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated Certified Assistant Athletic Trainer to support the health and performance of student-athletes across sports. You will work with athletes, coaches and medical staff in evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and return-to-sport processes.

This role requires 4-year degree and certifications in First Aid, CPR and AED, strong record-keeping, professional conduct and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Certified in First-Aid, CPR and AED.
• 4 Year Degree required (Athletic Training).
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with student athletes, coaches and medical staff in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and return-to-sport.
• Participate in preseason team meetings for all sports.
• Maintain medical records of student athletes (injuries, treatments, exams, rehab).
• Be present at practices and competitions (Some travel may be required).
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and supervise training room sanitation.
