Job summary

JW Speaker is seeking assemblers to join a manufacturing team in Germantown, WI. You will build lighting products from blueprints and work orders, maintaining daily 5S discipline on the shop floor and operating a range of machinery to complete assemblies.

The role offers starting pay at $17/hour with potential increases to $19/hour after 6-9 months, plus a 3rd shift premium on a Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am schedule. Benefits include health/dental/vision and 401k with employer match.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift 34 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand for up to 9 hours.
• Flexibility to work overtime including weekends (when not exempt for religious purposes).

Responsibilities

• Assemble lights using blueprints and work orders.
• Perform daily and weekly 5S procedures.
• Set up and operate various machines including Potting Machines, Sonic Welder, Multi-voltage testers, Rivet Machine, Shrink tubing, Micrometers, Air presses, Pneumatic drivers and crimpers.
