Job summary

UW Health is seeking an Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA/Clinical Anesthetist) to provide anesthesia care to a complex patient population under medical direction by UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty. The position requires collaboration with administrative, nursing, physician, and other staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and to support UW Health's educational and research missions.

Work in an academic setting with opportunities to contribute to S-AA education.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to a complex patient population under medical direction by UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty.
• Collaborate with administrative, nursing, physician and other staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and support educational and research missions.
• Work in an academic setting with opportunities to contribute to S-AA education. Case mix may include neuro, spine, ortho trauma, ob/gyn, general surgery, transplant, plastics, trauma, cath lab, and outpatient surgery.
