Job summary

Penn Medicine in Plainsboro is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesiologists and the anesthesia team with equipment procurement, preparation, and application for anesthesia administration.

The role involves independent work under supervision, managing medical gas tanks, stocking and maintaining anesthesia supplies across ORs and related areas, and supporting the anesthesia staff during procedures. Shift: Monday–Friday 4:00pm–8:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASATT certification preferred within six months of employment or eligibility.
• Graduate from an ASATT-recognized anesthesia program.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative technical support to anesthesia staff.
• Maintain equipment and supplies for ORs and anesthesia workrooms.
• Manage par levels and stock rotation for medications and supplies.
• Ensure availability of anesthesia equipment and handle code carts.
