Job summary

Penn Medicine is a leading academic medical center committed to patient care, research, and education. This anesthesia technician role supports anesthesiologists and nurses in equipment prep, supply management, and sterile processing to ensure safe, efficient operations in the OR.

You will maintain par levels across ORs, assist with anesthesia delivery, and help with readiness of emergency equipment, while adhering to Universal Precautions and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduated from a nationally recognized anesthesia program by ASATT.
• Certification received by ASATT within six months of employment or when eligible to sit for ASATT certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Is able to work independently and follow the direction of the Lead Anesthesia Tech to meet the needs of the Medical Staff.
• Maintains a full range of Anesthesia supplies and equipment across ORs, ENDO/CYSTO, ASC and OB/LDRP suites.
• Assists anesthesia professionals in delivery of patient care and ensures availability of necessary equipment in each operating room.

H.S. Diploma/GED

ASATT certification eligibility
