Qualifications

• At least 3000 hours of supervised work experience in substance use disorder counseling.
• An understanding of addiction treatments, including pharmacology.
• Heart Saver/CPR certification is required.
• BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients using standardized assessment tools and diagnose substance disorders.
• Develop written treatment plans that are client-centered.
• Provide substance abuse counseling services as specified in treatment plans.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team for assigned clients.
