Job summary

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a Certified Addiction Counselor in Lowndes County to provide evaluation and therapeutic services to adults with co-occurring disorders in clinic and community.

The CADC will be supervised by the ACT Team Leader. Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling and license eligibility, with GA driver’s license and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum.
• Degree must be license eligible.
• Clinical license (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LPC, LAPC) and have experience in the social services field; preferred.
• Someone who is dedicated to quality work.
• Someone who is a self-starter and goal orientated.
• A valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
• Computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and therapeutic services to adults with co-occurring disorders in clinic and community.
• Provide individual, family and group counseling.
• Complete complex psychosocial assessments and treatment planning/monitoring.
• Discharge planning and participation in treatment teams.
• CADC supervision by ACT Team Leader.

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a certified Addiction Counselor To join our team in Lowndes County. Under general supervision of the ACT TEAM LEADER, the Certified Addiction Counselor provides evaluation and therapeutic services to adults with co-occurring disorders in a clinic and in the community. Responsibilities include completion of complex psychosocial assessments, treatment team participation, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides individual, family and group counseling to consumers and their families.

Requirements
