Position Overview: Faculty at STEM Preparatory Academy are responsible for planning, enacting, and evaluating highly effective instruction tailored to students’ needs. They deliver a college preparatory curriculum aligned with the Common Core and Tennessee standards, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in education or relevant subject, with a valid teaching license from the state.
• Tennessee Teaching License with endorsement in the subject area.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned with standards and school goals.
• Implement evidence-based instructional practices tailored to students’ needs.

• Implement ELL and EE accommodations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet shared goals.
• Participate in professional development.
• Serve as a test administrator for state assessments.
• Support ELL students' language development.

The salary is based on a Step Scale considering experience and degree.
