Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a Certification Coordinator to coordinate and maintain product certifications across CTI, Eurovent, ASHRAE, GB, ASME, and other standards.

You will partner with R&D, Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Operations to identify needs, coordinate testing and documentation, and keep certifications current. This role supports budgeting for certification activities, develops processes, and builds relationships with certification bodies and laboratories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering, product management, testing, compliance, certification, or technical fields.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand engineering standards and certification documentation.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple certifications.
• Budget management experience.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year certification roadmap aligned with product strategies and customer requirements.
• Evaluate certification requirements for new product development and emerging markets.
• Coordinate certification activities, testing, and documentation.
• Maintain certifications and ensure renewals, testing, and documentation are completed on schedule.
• Build and maintain relationships with certification organizations, testing agencies, and laboratories.
• Partner with engineering to understand requirements and coordinate technical information.
• Develop and manage certification schedules and tracking tools across product lines.
• Report on certification status, costs, and risks to stakeholders.
• Identify upcoming certification needs for new products or changes and market expansion.
• Identify process improvements and streamline coordination between teams.
• Support budgeting for certification activities and external resources.
