Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Certification Engineer to provide engineering and technical support for evaluation, testing, and certification of electrical equipment. You will manage the full testing process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with FAA TSO, STC, and PMA requirements, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and certifying electrical equipment.
• Direct experience with industry, regulatory, and/or military standards/specifications.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, DVMs, data acquisition and other electrical test equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organized, focused and results oriented.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and certify electrical equipment to support FAA TSO, STC and PMA activities.
• Review technical data and forms to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Manage the testing process from project start to finish.
• Provide top-notch customer service throughout the testing program.
