Qualifications

• Valid ESA Certificate with School Nurse Endorsement or Substitute ESA Certificate/Permit.

• Experience with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Assess student health and manage health concerns in schools.
• Provide health counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Deliver emergency care and transport ill students when needed.
• Consult with staff on health issues and dispense medications.
• Participate in school/community health programs.
• Supervise licensed staff and mentor nursing students.
