Job summary

PHP Staging Mobile Taleo is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for casual supplemental coverage at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH. The CRT will perform assessments, treatments, and education, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.

The role requires a valid Ohio Respiratory Care License, NBRC CRT credential, and BLS/ACLS within 90 days; PALS/NRP within 6 months. Work location is Atrium Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Dr, Middletown, OH 45005.

Qualifications

• Diploma program in Respiratory Care from an accredited institution.
• Applied Science or equivalent degree required.
• Credential in Respiratory Care preferred; NBRC credentials beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, evaluations, and testing across patient populations.
• Educate patients and families while communicating clearly with the care team.

Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care. The CRT is responsible for the respiratory assessment, therapeutic treatment, evaluation, testing, education, and communication for all patient populations served. The CRT will coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to promote a great patient experience. The CRT is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional and system policies.

• Area of study or major: Respiratory Care

• PALS and/or NRP certification required within 6 months of hire or based upon course availability per facility requirements.
