Summary: Occupational Therapy Assistant Trainee will assist Licensed Occupational Therapy Practitioners with providing comprehensive and client-centered occupational therapy treatment for psychiatric, chemical dependency, inpatient, outpatient, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The intervention strategies utilized during co-facilitation should be designed to measure and improve skills in the following areas: Activities of Daily Living (ADL), cognitive functioning, work and school performance, leisure and recreation skills, community re-entry, Independent Living Skills, sensory integration, and psychosocial skills. The Occupational Therapy Assistant Trainee will also assist with maintaining an age-appropriate therapeutic environment and will perform any duties/responsibilities assigned by Supervisor for which qualified.
