The community you will be caring for:
AdventHealth Parker is a 170-bed, Level II trauma center located in Parker, Colorado. Our inpatient therapists see a variety of patients across hospital units including ICU, Cardiac, Stroke, Spine, Orthopedic, Med/Surg, Oncology, PACU, and ED. Position-dependent, therapists work a variety of weekdays and are required to cover two weekend shifts per month. Previous inpatient/acute care experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for a continuum of treatment by providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically related disorders requiring strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and training in activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Utilizes the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Participates in professional responsibilities, including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.
