Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is hiring a Cerner Application Analyst- Pharmacy to join our EHR team.

You will implement, manage, and modernize the Cerner Pharmacy Application, consulting on workflows and mapping current to future state to determine design and testing needs in alignment with CHS standards. You will collaborate with internal project teams and business partners to share configuration status, timelines, and updates, while coaching colleagues on data collection and system design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering; or the equivalent required.
• 0-3 years direct application experience required.
• 3-5 years direct application experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, build, test, and maintain the Cerner Pharmacy Application(s).
• Resolve complex problems across functional lines and develop processes, techniques, and success factors.
• Identify, report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, coach on data collection and system design requirements and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation.
• Consult with internal project, Business Partners, and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines and project updates, and verify configuration requests.
• Stay up to date on industry and Cerner best practices for continuous modernization of the EHR.
