Job Description:

GDIT has been supporting the IHS mission for 20+ years, working with the agency to provide services that improve health access for 2.6 million American Indians and Alaska Natives. You will be part of modernizing the EHR platform to enhance data access, patient experience, and quality of care for 567 tribes, 37 states, and over 600 medical facilities.

We are seeking a Reporting and Analytics Developer to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. The role involves Business Intelligence and report development, serving as a subject matter expert in a matrixed team, gathering reporting requirements, developing reports and analytics (including Cerner Millennium CCL, Discern, and HealtheIntent/HealtheAnalytics Reports), understanding vendor technology roadmaps, ensuring standards integration, health information management compliance, and developing mission-critical products.

This position is fully remote and US-based.

Impact of the Position:
  • Serve as a clinical, financial, and operational reporting SME, developing automated, scheduled, or ad-hoc reports within Cerner solutions.
  • Stay updated on vendor roadmaps and support integration of new capabilities.
  • Develop reports using Cerner Millennium CCL, HealtheIntent, HealtheAnalytics as per specifications.
  • Support reporting requirements gathering and design.
  • Collaborate with Data Management, Interoperability, and Validation teams to support clinical, financial, and administrative data reporting needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to report development and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cerner reporting and analytics platforms (Millennium and HealtheIntent).
  • 5+ years' experience with Cerner reporting platforms (CCL and/or HealtheIntent).
  • Experience leading small teams of report and analytics developers.
  • Proficiency with Cerner data structures and tools.
  • SQL query optimization skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., SAP BO, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Knowledge of data transformation and healthcare data standards.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
  • Availability to travel less than 10% of the time, if needed.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Knowledge of health and health finance terminology.
  • Understanding of health privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42CFR Part II).
  • Experience with Snowflake and big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with federal projects and HHS EPLC processes.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently.

Salary range: $143,750 - $146,536, based on experience and location.
