Job summary

System One is seeking a Food Manufacturing Technologist – Cereal for a 3rd shift on-site in Minneapolis, MN. The role is a contract position paying $21/hr, with Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM hours. You will safely operate equipment, lead safety-focused projects, and ensure food safety across multiple unit operations.

The candidate will collaborate with teams, demonstrate strong communication, and coach others while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Experience working in teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment, understand food safety requirements, and perform risk assessments.
• Lead teams through projects to identify and resolve safety risks.
• Maintain skills on multiple unit operations/systems; demonstrate mastery on some systems and teach others.
• Lead equipment sanitation activities and inspect sanitation processes.
• Focus on maintenance, electrical, and controls with a technical emphasis.
• Lift and manipulate ingredients or equipment up to 55 lbs.
