What You Can Look Forward To:

ERI is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full-time job opening for the position of Ceramic Technician, with the Manufacturing team in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position is responsible for helping transition products from design through manufacturing. This role will work third shift hours.

What Will You Do?

• Direct interaction with all phases of the ceramic manufacturing process including batch mixing, spray drying, ISO Pressing, green machining, kiln operations and shipping/receiving.
• Must be detail oriented, mechanically inclined, able to lift 25-50lbs routinely, safe working around chemicals and focused on safety.
• Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
• Establish competence in troubleshooting problems on new and existing equipment to include but not limited to PLC-controlled processing equipment.
• Follow process instructions.
• All other projects and duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

• High School Diploma.
• 5 – 7 years experience in a complex production/manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with, and as a member of work teams.
• PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial manufacturing, including mechanical assembly and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of ceramic manufacturing a plus.

$21 - $26 an hour
