Job summary

Trans-Tech in Adamstown, MD is seeking a Technical Operator (Assembler/Clean Line Operator). The role involves assembling ceramic parts, operating the cleaning machine, and verifying measurements in the data collection system.

The candidate should follow the job traveler instructions and maintain cleanliness to prevent contamination. Two shifts: training 5:45 am–2:15 pm, then 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
• Standing for most or all of the shift.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions on the job traveler for each job.
• Assemble ceramic parts.
• Load and unload baskets with parts per job traveler and put parts into the proper clean foam package after cleaning of parts.
• Verify measurements of machined parts prior to cleaning.
• Perform functional tests on products.
• Complete paperwork for accepted and rejected material.
• Handle all products to keep them clean and safe from contamination and chips.
• Drain down tanks daily and refill with water and cleaning solution.
• Contact lead operator when issues are encountered.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
