Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a manufacturing operator at our Kentucky facility to direct and control furnace-related equipment for ceramic fiber production. You will monitor quality and process parameters, prepare orders, and ensure accurate documentation for each job run.

The role emphasizes teamwork and safety, with opportunities to advance through our training program toward an A Operator role. Must be able to perform repetitive physical tasks and lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to learn and access information through computer data databases.
• Must have working knowledge of all “B” Operator jobs and aim to become an “A” Operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate furnaces and related equipment to manufacture ceramic fiber products.
• Monitor product specifications to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Prepare and label containers, packs and paperwork for each job order.
• Train and supervise lower-skilled personnel as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace and follow safety rules.
