Opportunity Description

Our private equity client is seeking a professional with deep CEO/C-Level operational experience and expertise in a high-growth space. The role involves assisting with due diligence and potentially taking a senior position (most likely as CEO or Executive Chairman) in a new acquisition identified in collaboration with the executive.

This position is remote with some travel until the acquisition target is finalized. Post-acquisition, relocation may be required depending on circumstances and the organizational structure of the portfolio company.

Note: Our PE clients are control group buyers, not passive investors or VCs. They focus on companies valued based on a multiple of TTM EBITDA. They do not invest in startups, early-stage companies, nor do they buy based on top-line multiples or seek unicorn growth typical of VCs.

This opportunity pertains to a new platform, not an existing portfolio company of the PE client. If you seek a paid operational role immediately, this program is not suitable.

Preference will be given to candidates with an industry thesis and potentially identified target acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Deep CEO and/or C-Level operational experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing a P&L of at least $50 million.
• High emotional intelligence and leadership skills.
• Willingness to remain in a leadership role post-acquisition.
• Prior Private Equity Portfolio Company experience at the C-Level is preferred.
• Executives with an ownership mindset are most likely to succeed in this program.
