Job summary

G8 Education Limited is seeking an energetic Centre Manager for First Grammar Wyoming, USA, to lead a 38-place centre during a parental leave period. This 6-month max-term role offers potential extension, job share, or other pathways within the centre.

You will manage daily operations, coach staff, design activities for holistic development, ensure safety, and uphold regulatory standards, while cultivating a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in early childhood education (ACECQA approved).
• Minimum 3 years in licensed childcare with leadership experience.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate and manage priorities.

Our Opportunity

We’re looking for an energetic and inspiring Centre Manager to join our strong team at First Grammar Wyoming. With our current Centre Manager taking parental leave, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role, support an experienced team and make a genuine impact across our 38-place centre.

Initially offered as a 6-month Full-Time Max Term role, there is potential for the opportunity to extend, transition into a Part-Time Job Share arrangement, or explore an alternative ongoing pathway within the centre.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, budgets, and parent communication.
• Inspire and support Educators and Teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional growth.
• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children’s holistic development.
• Prioritise children’s safety and well‑being, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork and diversity.

What you’ll bring:

• ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
• A current Working with Children Check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage priorities effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
