Role Purpose
The Centralized Scheduling Representative is often the first point of contact for patients and must represent BJC with high standards of customer service, compassion, and professionalism. This role involves facilitating patient entry into BJC facilities, requiring emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and knowledge of insurance and compliance standards. Accuracy in selecting patient information from the master person index (MPI) is critical for patient safety and billing accuracy.
