Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western in Central Texas is seeking interns for our region. The program prepares you for leadership positions on and off the jobsite, with hands-on experience in project engineering and field management.

Interns work on jobsites or in the office, assisting with pursuits in estimating and preconstruction, coordinating with subcontractors, and learning document control and safety management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 12-week work schedule preferred.
• Relocation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Write RFIs and submittals, and assist in change orders.
